Each distinctive piece of Peggy’s jewelry is created by hand cutting and fusing multiple layers of dichroic glass in a special high-fire kiln at at temperatures in excess of 1500F, with pieces often requiring multiple firing to achieve the desired effect. Each piece derives its iridescence and fascinating colors from light reflecting off the surface and refracting through the glass, creating the deep glow of color within.
